Young Entrepreneurs in Action.
A flagship SBDC programme introducing Form 4 and Form 5 students to entrepreneurship through preparation workshops and structured summer job attachments.

How the programme works.
Student preparation
Participants complete workshops that build workplace readiness and entrepreneurial confidence.
Job attachments
Placements operate annually from mid-July to the end of August, Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
School applications
Applications are coordinated through participating secondary schools during April and May.
Growing participation
The programme began with 40 students in 2022 and expanded to 100 students in 2024 and 2025.
Students gain firsthand exposure to business operations through partnerships between SBDC clients and schools across the island. Several past participants have gone on to establish their own businesses, and the programme remains a flagship initiative for nurturing the next generation of business leaders, innovators and job creators.
