The Department of Commerce is administering the capacity-building training component under the Micro-, Small and Medium-sized Enterprise (MSME) Loan-Grant Facility which commenced on January 12th, 2026 and is scheduled to conclude on January 29th, 2026. To date, the MSME Loan-Grant Facility has provided critical access to finance to more than 700 MSMEs, and is now aiming to build resilience within the sector through targeted technical support and capacity-building initiatives aimed at improving MSME operations.
The training focuses on three fundamental areas:
- Advanced Business Planning: Equipping participants with tools to develop robust, growth-oriented business plans and improve financial and strategic decision-making.
- Operational Enhancement: Improving efficiency, productivity, and internal systems to support scalable and resilient operations.
- Marketing and Digitalization: Building practical skills in branding, digital marketing, e-commerce, and the effective use of digital tools to expand market reach.
These training courses are tailored to meet the evolving needs of MSMEs operating in today’s dynamic business environment, combining practical instruction with actionable insights that can be immediately applied. The ongoing training takes a hybrid approach with the majority of training conducted virtually. All MSMEs are encouraged to register and take advantage of this opportunity to strengthen their capabilities and position their businesses for growth.
To register, MSMEs were invited to access the flyer for the respective training areas on the Department of Commerce website.
